Commercial RJ45 connections can expect a long life when mounted within an enclosure, but are not designed to withstand any level of vibration. By incorporating a Cat 5e shielded connector into a sealed screw-fit housing, the RJ-Lnxx solution isolates the gold contacts, significantly increasing the life of the product.
